Terms of Service

1. The deal

By signing up for Sutra, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the Service. We try to keep this readable — if anything is unclear, email support@sutra.app and we'll clarify.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password and team members' access secure
• You confirm you're authorised to sign up on behalf of any organisation you list as your workspace
• You confirm you're at least 18 years old
• One workspace per organisation — don't fragment to game pricing tiers

3. What you can do

Use Sutra to run your sales pipeline, manage contacts, send messages to people who've consented to hear from you, issue invoices, and operate other legal business activity.

4. What you can't do

• Send spam, harass anyone, or violate TRAI / DPDPA / DLT-compliant calling/SMS rules
• Use the AI Sales Bot to place calls without explicit recipient consent
• Resell Sutra as your own product without our written permission (Enterprise tier)
• Try to reverse-engineer the Service or scrape our APIs beyond what your plan allows
• Upload illegal content, malware, or anything you don't own the rights to

5. Paying us

• Paid plans bill monthly or annually in INR via Razorpay or USD via Stripe
• Prices on the /pricing page are authoritative
• GST applies; receipts are GST-compliant
• You can cancel any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• If a payment fails, we'll retry for 14 days before downgrading to Free

6. Our service to you

• We target 99.5% uptime (Enterprise: 99.95% with SLA)
• We may push improvements + bugfixes without warning. Breaking changes get at least 30 days notice
• If we ever shut down the Service, you'll get at least 60 days to export your data

7. Liability

Sutra is provided "as is". We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

8. Governing law

Indian law. Disputes go to the courts of the founder's registered city of business.
